One of the most embarrassing things to have to deal with is acne. These acne are very troublesome since they are usually hard to treat and get rid of.Acne is troubling to most everyone, and with the market clogged with so many acne remedies it is not easy to separate the ones that work from the ones that do not. There are several home acne remedies that can be used to alleviate the appearance of unsightly blemishes and get to the root cause of the acne problem.

Use lavender-Because of its antiseptic properties, lavender has proven to be very effective at treating acne. You may already have some lavender oil in your home so add some to your bath water and have a good soak. Do this regularly.

Yogurt-Eating yogurt is good for the skin, but if you do not care for the taste, wear it instead. Combine one mashed strawberry and four tablespoons of plain yogurt and smooth over the face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes and rinse.

Use orange peels-Some oranges and peel them. Mix it into water and make a paste then apply to your acne. Wash off after about an hour or so.

Honey & Cinnamon-Honey moisturizes your skin, and the properties of cinnamon help to combat the acne causing bacteria. Make a paste by mixing together a few tablespoons of honey and a few teaspoons of cinnamon. Apply the honey and cinnamon paste to your pimples or any skin with acne.

Use some peppermint -It has medicinal properties that have proved to be very effective in treating acne. Again, if you don't grow your own peppermint it is very easy to obtain. Crush some peppermint leaves until you get some juice. Then apply some of the juice to the infected area and leave for 10 to 15 minutes. After that wash it with cold water
